Existing Problem In Education
The problem of education in Eastern Asia has always been; students are told "what" to learn instead of "why" to learn. Keep adding pressures onto these poor teenagers only led to the myth of themselves.

The concept of my Fablab is "Use contributes to Learn" instead of traditional Chinese's "Learn contributes to Use" culture. Instead of giving students a list to learn, we ask them why they are here first, knowing the exact thing they want to do, then tell them the procedure. To state this idea, I even made a TED talk about it titled "Inside of a maker's brain" in 2015.

This objective way of thinking enables Maker culture to develop rapidly in the school, furthermore, contributes to several ITEX (International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition) award winners. Even school teachers began to join here recently. Thus a whole school innovation movement is launching.
Location
Sitting right of the entrance, FabLab MDHS located at the most prominent place of the school. Ceiling window design captures light in the day which even eliminates the need for electric light. Through the window, the new cruise ship shaped Mingdao Building is caught by your eyes; the landscape near Fablab MDHS is considered fabulous. Furthermore, the interior design of Fablab MDHS is unique too. Inclined layout has broken the traditional classroom setting, which encourages members of the lab to break the limitation of their thoughts.
